VIENNA — Sherry Lynn Rob­bins, 49, of Vienna, MD, passed away Sun­day evening, July 10, 2016, at UMSMC at Eas­ton af­ter a sud­den ill­ness.

Born Nov. 10, 1966 in Eas­ton, MD, she was a daugh­ter of Ken­neth Wayne Smith and E. Jean­nie Jar­rell.

Sherry at­tended the lo­cal schools and grad­u­ated from North Caro­line High School with the class of 1984. She at­tended Ch­e­sa­peake Col­lege and later ob­tained her cos­me­tol­ogy li­cense. She had also worked in phys­i­cal ther­apy and up to the time of her death she was em­ployed at the Public De­fender’s Of­fice as an In­take/El­i­gi­bil­ity Spe­cial­ist.

She was a mem­ber of the Linkwood Salem Vol­un­teer Fire Com­pany and en­joyed ev­ery minute of be­ing in­volved. She con­sid­ered the mem­bers her sec­ond fam­ily.

Her hob­bies in­cluded read­ing, trav­el­ing, go­ing

to the beach and watch­ing her daugh­ter Kara’s soft­ball games, but most of all, spend­ing time with her fam­ily whom she truly loved.

Sherry had a heart of gold and would al­ways lend a help­ing hand to any­one who was in need. She was a good lis­tener and al­ways gave ad­vice the best she could. She will truly be missed by her many friends and fam­ily.

Sur­viv­ing Sherry be­sides her par­ents, is her hus­band of 22 years, Hollie Rob­bins Jr.; three daugh­ters: Amanda Marie Rob­bins (Zed Grafton), Jenna Leeann Rob­bins (Adam We­ber) and Kara Lynn Rob­bins, all of Vienna; sis­ters: Tammy Smith Wil­lis (Jeff Lay­ton), Kim­berly Smith Bil­brough (Mark),

Bar­bara J. John­son (Mike Hooper), Fran­cie Sher­wood Earl (Rob) and John­nie-Rae Sher­wood Cherry (Glen); brothers: John Martin Sher­wood Jr. and Gre­gory A. Smith (Whit­ney); pa­ter­nal grand­mother Agnes Smith; step mother Nancy Smith; step­fa­ther John Sher­wood Sr.; nieces and neph­ews, Alex Wil­lis, Kayla Boyd, David John­son Jr., (DW), Kyler Boyd, Kam­ryn Boyd, Ad­di­son De­lainey John­son and Jakob Bil­brough; fa­ther-in-law Hollie Rob­bins Sr.; special aunt Bar­bara An­drew and special friend David Cyr. Also sev­eral aunts, un­cles, and cousins.

Pre­ced­ing her in death was her grand­fa­ther Ge­orge Smith; great grand­par­ents, Ed­ward and Amanda Ca­hall; mother-in-law Betty Lee Rob­bins; grand­par­ents-in-law Paul and Marie Lee.

A view­ing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thurs­day, July 14, at New­comb and Collins Fu­neral Home, P.A., 308 High

St., Cam­bridge, MD.

Fu­neral Ser­vices will be held at 1 p.m. Fri­day, July 15, at the fu­neral home with a view­ing an hour prior to the service. Of­fi­ci­at­ing will be Rev. A. Delmer Wil­ley Jr. In­ter­ment will fol­low in the East New Mar­ket Ceme­tery.

Serv­ing as pall­bear­ers will be Scott War­rell, Adam We­ber, Zed Grafton, Hunter Mauk, Danny Ad­shead, Alex Wil­lis, Jerry Wil­ley and Don­nie Phip­pin.

Hon­orary pall­bear­ers will be mem­bers of the Linkwood Salem Vol­un­teer Fire Com­pany.
