Keasha Haythe launches economic development group
EASTON — Talbot County native and Easton resident Keasha Haythe has launched Zoe Economic Development Group LLC.
Zoe Economic Development Group LLC, is a full service economic development consulting firm based in Easton that specializes in business attraction, retention and expansion, site selection and project financing ser vices.
Working with private and public entities seeking economic development services, the business was created this year after Haythe spent more than 15 years working in government.
Most recently, she served as economic development director for Dorchester County.
“I am so excited to be able to provide economic development consulting services to businesses seeking to locate to Maryland especially to the Eastern Shore,” Haythe said. “We have a team of professionals ready to assist businesses and governments in taking the next step to fulfill the plans for their business and community.”
Currently, the firm is working with Oysters Inc., a $3.4 million oyster hatchery project to be located in Dorchester County. This project will spur economic activity for Dorchester and the State of Mar yland.

In addition to serving as CEO of Zoe Economic Development Group, LLC. Haythe serves as President of Maryland Economic Development Association, or MEDA, and was recently appointed by Gov. Larry Hogan and confirmed by the Maryland Senate to serve on the Maryland Department of Commerce P3 Marketing Board of Directors.
