EAST NEW MAR­KET — Mar­garet “Mag­gie” J. McKen­rick, 67, of East New Mar­ket, MD, passed away on Sat­ur­day, July 16, 2016 at UMSMC at Eas­ton. She was born in Dorch­ester County on May 7, 1949 and was a daugh­ter of the late Mil­ford F. and Mary Con­don John­son.

She grad­u­ated from Cam­bridge High School class of 1967. On Dec. 2, 1975, she mar­ried Owen Stan­ley McKen­rick. Mag­gie worked and re­tired from State of Mary­land with 30 years of ser­vice. She en­joyed swim­ming, camp­ing and es­pe­cially go­ing to Get­tys­burg. Mag­gie was a mem­ber of Our Lady of Good Coun­sel Catholic Church in Sec­re­tar y.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band of 40 years, Owen Stan­ley McKen­rick of East New Mar­ket, a son Jesse Shawn McKen­rick of Cam­bridge, two grand­daugh­ters Ka­suana McKen­rick and Aaliyah McKen­rick, a grand­son Eli­jahju­won McKen­rick, a sis­ter Kathryn Barnes of Mil­ford, DE, a brother in law Ron­ald McKen­rick of Eas­ton, two sis­ters in law Pa­tri­cia McNeal and hus­band Car­roll of Whit­man and Dorothy Bai­ley and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. Be­sides her par­ents, Mag­gie is pre­ceded in death by four broth­ers and two sis­ters, Sarah L. Frase, Norma Eberspacher, W. Fran­cis John­son, Robert S. John­son, Ja­cob A. John­son and T. Ben­jamin John­son.

Pall­bear­ers will be Rusty Eberspacher, Todd Eberspacher, Randy John­son, War­ren Frase, Mark Frase and Doug Ramey. Hon­orary pall­bear­ers will be Ron­ald John­son and Lawrence John­son.

A Mass of Chris­tian Burial will be held on Fri­day, July 22, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Coun­sel Catholic Church with Father Stephen Lonek of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low at the church­yard. Fam­ily will re­ceive friends Thurs­day evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cam­bridge.
