WECA Historic Tours Saturdays West End Citizens Association hosts Saturday “One Hour Walking Tour of Historic High Street” in Cambridge. Isaak Walton League Dinner Meeting July 28 Dr. Joan Maloof will speak to the Izaak Walton League’s Mid-Shore Chapter about the Old-Growth Forest Network, which she founded, at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 28 at Bolingbroke Park in Trappe. The mission of the Old-Growth Forest Network is to connect people with nature by creating a national network of protected, mature, publically-accessible, native forests. Dr. Maloof is a professor emeritus at Salisbury University, and she founded its Environmental Studies program. The event is a dinner meeting and reservations are required.
