WECA His­toric Tours Satur­days West End Cit­i­zens As­so­ci­a­tion hosts Sat­ur­day “One Hour Walk­ing Tour of His­toric High Street” in Cam­bridge. Tours will con­tinue each Sat­ur­day (weather per­mit­ting) through Sat­ur­day, Oct. 29. Meet your Colo­nial cos­tumed tour guide at 11 a.m. on Long Wharf at the foot of High Street ev­ery Sat­ur­day. Reser­va­tions are not nec­es­sary, but ap­pre­ci­ated. High Street is the old­est street in the City of Cam­bridge first named in 1706.

Isaak Wal­ton League Din­ner Meet­ing July 28 Dr. Joan Maloof will speak to the Izaak Wal­ton League’s Mid-Shore Chap­ter about the Old-Growth For­est Net­work, which she founded, at 5:30 p.m. on Thurs­day, July 28 at Bol­ing­broke Park in Trappe. The mission of the Old-Growth For­est Net­work is to con­nect peo­ple with na­ture by cre­at­ing a na­tional net­work of pro­tected, ma­ture, pub­li­cally-accessible, na­tive forests. Dr. Maloof is a pro­fes­sor emer­i­tus at Sal­is­bury Univer­sity, and she founded its En­vi­ron­men­tal Stud­ies pro­gram. The event is a din­ner meet­ing and reser­va­tions are re­quired. Cam­bridge Wes­leyan Church Ben­e­fit Din­ner, Con­cert July 29 The Cam­bridge Wes­leyan Church will host a ben­e­fit din­ner and con­cert start­ing at 4 p.m. Fri­day, July 29. The din­ner will be from 4 to 7 p.m. with the Is­land Boys in con­cert from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. The din­ner in­cludes a New York Strip Steak, baked potato, salad, roll, tea or cof­fee and dessert.
