CAM­BRIDGE — Thomas E. Con­don, 76, of Cam­bridge, MD, passed away on Satur­day, July 30, 2016, at his home with his lov­ing fam­ily be­side him. He was born in Cam­bridge on Sept. 10, 1939, and was a son of the late Ge­orge and Louise Hill Con­don.

Mr. Con­don grad­u­ated from Cam­bridge High School class of 1957. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Mr. Con­don was a self em­ployed truck driver. On Oct. 10, 2010, he mar­ried the for­mer Fredrikke “Fred­die” Ber­tun.

He en­joyed fish­ing, crab­bing, hunt­ing, and so­cial­iz­ing. Mr. Con­don was a mem­ber of the Amer­i­can Legion Post 91.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Fredrikke “Fred­die” Con­don of Cam­bridge, a daugh­ter Patty Robin­son and hus­band Binky of Cam­bridge, stepchil­dren An­gela Diaz of Texas, Xavier Diaz of Saudi Ara­bia and Febe Diaz of Cam­bridge, grand­chil­dren Dal­ton Robin­son, Natalia Diaz, Pe­dro Gar­cia Jr., Alice Gar­cia and Caleb Nater, a brother Robert Con­don of Cam­bridge and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews.

Pall­bear­ers will be Binky Robin­son, Ste­vie Evans, Danny Wind­sor, Wayne Bur­ton, Don­ald Bell and Chris Con­don. Honorary pall­bear­ers will be Dal­ton Robin­son, Billy Mar­shall and Bobby Hurley.

A funeral ser­vice will be held on Fri­day, Au­gust 5, 11 a.m. at Sped­den United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Avens of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low at Sped­den Se­ward Ceme­tery. Fam­ily will re­ceive friends one hour prior to the ser­vice.
