Dorchester Center for the Arts hosts camp
CAMBRIDGE — For Dorchester Center for the Arts, 2016 was again a creative summer for children at art camp. Young artists of all ages painted, sculpted, sewed, knitted, sang, acted, printed and more.
In addition, serious young artists studied the classics; learning techniques of the great artists of the world, learning to mix a complex palette, and developing skills in still life and natural landscape drawing.
DCA would like to thank the Midshore Community Foundation, DCA Board President Alicia Hoffman and other donors, who helped provide a total of 49 scholarships with a value more than $5,000.
Community members, who would like to receive notices of the programs for next year, should call 410228-7782 and request to be placed on the mailing list.
Dorchester Center for the Arts presented another enriching summer of art classes for children.
