Margaret Adell Dyer
HURLOCK — Margaret (Peggy) Adell Dyer, born March 1, 1940, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Forest and Margaret (Billingsley) Cheshier, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 26, 2016.
She is survived by four children, a son, Ronald Dyer
(Stacey), and three daughters: Valarie Dyer Brinsfield (John), Michele Dyer and Eddie Gillham, Cynthia Dyer Gillham (Billy). She also has one sister, Lois Buckley of Belin, NM, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Peggy lived most of her life in Wyoming, where
she graduated Hulett High school, attended the University of Wyoming, and married Rudalph Dyer of 42 years. She became an advocate for battered women, was an active member of Sundance First Baptist Church and instrumental in starting the church’s
food pantry. Her hobbies included genealogy, painting, and history. After moving to Maryland, she was an active member of Hurlock First Baptist Church.
A life celebration memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Hurlock, MD, on August 13
at 3 p.m., followed by a fellowship meal.
