CRAPO — Ed­ward “Ed­die” E. McGlaugh­lin, 59, of Crapo passed away on Tues­day, Aug. 16, 2016, at UMSMC at Dorch­ester. He was born in Cam­bridge on Oct. 27, 1956, and was a son of Alene McGlaugh­lin and the late Wil­liam James “Bill Tuck” McGlaugh­lin.

He grad­u­ated from South Dorch­ester High School class of 1975. Ed­die had worked on the wa­ter and later he was a truck driver. He en­joyed do­ing string art.

He is sur­vived by his mother Alene McGlaugh­lin of Bish­ops Head, a brother Jira McGlaugh­lin of Cam­bridge, two nieces Mon­ica Du­per­ron and hus­band David of Clarksville, Del. and Jen­nifer McGlaugh­lin of Cam­bridge, a great niece Jira Du­per­ron, a great nephew David Du­per­ron, and an un­cle Wil­lis McGlaugh­lin of Cam­bridge. Be­sides his fa­ther, Ed­die is pre­ceded in death by two aunts Norma Phillips and Anna Belle Birch.

Pall­bear­ers will be David Du­per­ron, Sr., David Du­per­ron, Jr., Shan­non Daw­son, Tawes Harper, Sr., Don­nie Sim­mons and Randy Sim­mons. Hon­orary pall­bearer will be Ed­die Mooney.

A fu­neral ser­vice will be held at noon Mon­day, Aug. 22, at Thomas Fu­neral Home, P.A. in Cam­bridge with Rev. Michael LaClair of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low at Dorch­ester Me­mo­rial Park. Fam­ily will re­ceive friends one hour prior to the ser­vice. Me­mo­rial con­tri­bu­tions can be made to the Bay­wa­ter An­i­mal Res­cue, 4930 Buck­town Road, Cam­bridge, MD 21613.
