CAM­BRIDGE — Carl­ton E. “Lit­tle Boy” Knauer, 81, of Buck­town passed away on Satur­day, Aug. 27, 2016, at Mal­lard Bay Care Cen­ter. He was born in Buck­town on Dec. 10, 1934, and was a son of the late John Au­gust Knauer and Josephine Peters Knauer.

Mr. Knauer at­tended schools in Dorch­ester County. For a few years, he worked for Phillips Pack­ing Com­pany, but all of his life was farm­ing. Mr. Knauer en­joyed hunt­ing.

He is sur­vived by three broth­ers Vernon Knauer of Reis­ter­stown, his twin Car­roll Knauer of Buck­town and Fred­die Knauer of Cam­bridge, a spe­cial great niece

Bil­lie Jo War­ring­ton and cousin Michael Knauer who were also his care­giver and nu­mer­ous nieces, neph­ews and cousins. Be­sides his par­ents, Mr. Knauer is pre­ceded in death by two broth­ers Lawrence Knauer and Henry Knauer.

Pall­bear­ers will be Franklin Knauer, Fred Knauer, Michael Knauer, Mark Keene, Bill Lowe and Vernon Lowe. Honorary pall­bearer will be James Insley.

A fu­neral ser­vice will be held at noon Thurs­day, Sept. 1, at Thomas Fu­neral Home, P.A. in Cam­bridge with Rev. Robert G. Kirkley of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low at Dorch­ester Me­mo­rial Park. Fam­ily will re­ceive friends one hour prior to the ser­vice.
