Con­sti­tu­tion Week with Ben Franklin set Sept. 24

CAM­BRIDGE — In honor of Con­sti­tu­tion Week, the Gen­eral Perry Ben­son chap­ter of the Daugh­ters of the Amer­i­can Rev­o­lu­tion will spon­sor an event on the lawn of the Dorch­ester County Li­brary, 303 Gay Street, from 11 a.m. un­til 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Ben­jamin Franklin, a com­mu­nity re-en­ac­tor, will greet chil­dren and share sto­ries of the Amer­i­can Rev­o­lu­tion.

Chil­dren will be given flags, pa­tri­otic stick­ers, and may sign a procla­ma­tion hon­or­ing the sign­ing of the Con­sti­tu­tion of the United States.

Cel­e­brate Con­sti­tu­tion Week is rec­og­nized an­nu­ally from Sept. 17 through Sept. 24.
