Hot Sauce & Oyster Fest set for Sunday in Cambridge
CAMBRIDGE — Sweet bivalves from the Chesapeake Bay and hot capsaicin from chili peppers will rule the day from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at the sixth annual Hot Sauce & Oyster Festival in downtown Cambridge.
Sponsored by Crabi Gras, the event will be held in Canner y Way park in the 400-block of Race Street, and will feature a variety of Chesapeake Bay oysters, hundreds of hot sauces and live music by Uncle Ward Show and Bird Dog & the Road Kings.
“We work tirelessly to bring the best in local music to our Crabi Gras festivals, and this year’s Hot Sauce & Oyster Festival is the best yet,” said Keith Graffius, the owner of Crabi Gras, a specialty spice and flavor shop with locations in Cambridge, Crisfield and St. Michaels.
Tickets are $5; proceeds benefit Cambridge Main Street.
