Hot Sauce & Oys­ter Fest set for Sunday in Cam­bridge

CAM­BRIDGE — Sweet bi­valves from the Ch­e­sa­peake Bay and hot cap­saicin from chili pep­pers will rule the day from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at the sixth an­nual Hot Sauce & Oys­ter Fes­ti­val in down­town Cam­bridge.

Spon­sored by Crabi Gras, the event will be held in Can­ner y Way park in the 400-block of Race Street, and will fea­ture a va­ri­ety of Ch­e­sa­peake Bay oys­ters, hun­dreds of hot sauces and live mu­sic by Un­cle Ward Show and Bird Dog & the Road Kings.

“We work tire­lessly to bring the best in lo­cal mu­sic to our Crabi Gras fes­ti­vals, and this year’s Hot Sauce & Oys­ter Fes­ti­val is the best yet,” said Keith Graf­fius, the owner of Crabi Gras, a spe­cialty spice and fla­vor shop with lo­ca­tions in Cam­bridge, Cr­is­field and St. Michaels.

Tick­ets are $5; pro­ceeds ben­e­fit Cam­bridge Main Street.
