WECA His­toric Tours Satur­days

West End Citizens As­so­ci­a­tion hosts Satur­day “One Hour Walk­ing Tour of His­toric High Street” in Cam­bridge. Tours will con­tinue each Satur­day (weather per­mit­ting) through Satur­day, Oct. 29. Meet your Colo­nial cos­tumed tour guide at 11 a.m. on Long Wharf at the foot of High Street every Satur­day. Reser­va­tions are not nec­es­sary, but ap­pre­ci­ated. High Street is the old­est street in the City of Cam­bridge first named in 1706.

Richard­son Mar­itime Mu­seum Raf­fle Fundraiser Oct. 22

The Richard­son Mar­itime Mu­seum is sell­ing raf­fle tick­ets for a 12’ row­ing skiff, built lo­cally by vol­un­teers at Ruark Boat­works. Tick­ets are $10 each or 3 for $25. The draw­ing will be held on Satur­day, Oct. 22 at the Cam­bridge Schooner Ren­dezvous, and the win­ner need not be present to re­ceive the prize. Vi­enna VFD Pig Roast Oct. 22

The Vi­enna Vol­un­teer Fire De­part­ment will host its sec­ond an­nual Mary­nan Spear Me­mo­rial Pig Roast from 2 un­til 7 p.m. on Satur­day, Oct. 22 at the Vi­enna Com­mu­nity Cen­ter. Adult tick­ets will be $20, kids ages 4-10 will be $10, and kids 3 and un­der are free. The menu will in­clude all-you-can-eat pulled pork, burg­ers, hot dogs, baked beans, coleslaw, po­tato or mac­a­roni salad, and sweet and unsweet tea. South Dorch­ester Com­mu­nity Cen­ter Chil­dren’s Hal­loween Party Oct. 22

A Chil­dren’s Hal­loween Party will be hosted at the South Dorch­ester Com­mu­nity Cen­ter from 1 un­til 3 p.m. on Satur­day, Oct. 22. The party, for chil­dren ages 12 and un­der, will fea­ture a cos­tume con­test, 25 cent games, free crafts and games, prizes, raf­fles, and a silent auc­tion.
