WECA Historic Tours Saturdays
West End Citizens Association hosts Saturday “One Hour Walking Tour of Historic High Street” in Cambridge. Tours will continue each Saturday (weather permitting) through Saturday, Oct. 29. Meet your Colonial costumed tour guide at 11 a.m. on Long Wharf at the foot of High Street every Saturday. Reservations are not necessary, but appreciated. High Street is the oldest street in the City of Cambridge first named in 1706.

Richardson Maritime Museum Raffle Fundraiser Oct. 22
The Richardson Maritime Museum is selling raffle tickets for a 12’ rowing skiff, built locally by volunteers at Ruark Boatworks. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. The drawing will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Cambridge Schooner Rendezvous, and the winner need not be present to receive the prize. Vienna VFD Pig Roast Oct. 22
The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department will host its second annual Marynan Spear Memorial Pig Roast from 2 until 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Vienna Community Center. Adult tickets will be $20, kids ages 4-10 will be $10, and kids 3 and under are free. The menu will include all-you-can-eat pulled pork, burgers, hot dogs, baked beans, coleslaw, potato or macaroni salad, and sweet and unsweet tea. Beer will also be served, all-you-can-drink for $10. A Children’s Halloween Party will be hosted at the South Dorchester Community Center from 1 until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22.
