Eastern Shore Dance Academy to perform at Disney World
CAMBRIDGE — Artistic director and owner of the Eastern Shore Dance Academy, Jessica Hindman-Wheatley, will take 28 dancers to perform at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., in November.
Hindman-Wheatley took the academy last in August 2011. This time, Hindman-Wheatley offered the opportunity to all of her students in levels two through eight, and the dancers have been preparing and practicing for nearly a year.
During the upcoming trip, Hindman-Wheatley also has arranged for the dancers to take a workshop with one of the Disney choreographers.
The Eastern Shore Dance Academy now is at a new location on Airey’s Road Spur Bypass in Cambridge. Classes include ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, modern, musical theater, choreography and creative movement, and are offered to prospective dancers ages 1 and older.
