WECA His­toric Tours

Sat­ur­days West End Ci­ti­zens As­so­ci­a­tion hosts Sat­ur­day “One Hour Walk­ing Tour of His­toric High Street” in Cam­bridge. Tours will con­tinue each Sat­ur­day (weather per­mit­ting) through Sat­ur­day, Oct. 29. Meet your Colo­nial cos­tumed tour guide at 11 a.m. on Long Wharf at the foot of High Street ev­ery Sat­ur­day. Reser­va­tions are not nec­es­sary, but ap­pre­ci­ated. High Street is the old­est street in the City of Cam­bridge first named in 1706.

Oct. 29 The Wags & Wheels Car Show, hosted by Bay­wa­ter An­i­mal Res­cue, will be held from 9 a.m. un­til 4 p.m. on Sat­ur­day, Oct. 29 in the old Kmart park­ing lot at Cam­bridge Plaza. This fam­ily fun event will fea­ture ex­cit­ing au­tocross rac­ing by mem­bers of the Porsche Club of Amer­ica and oth­ers. Hal­loween Dance

Oct. 29 A Hal­loween Dance and cos­tume party will be from 8 p.m. un­til mid­night at the VFW Post 7460, Glas­gow Street, Cam­bridge. Mu­sic will be pro­vided by Golden Touch, and there will be a silent auc­tion and cos­tume prizes too. Pro­ceeds will ben­e­fit the Sons of Amer­i­can Le­gion Post 91 Squadron.
