Cambridge police investigating Saturday night shooting
CAMBRIDGE — Cambridge police are investigating a Saturday night shooting that occurred inside a residence in the 700-block of Douglas Street and sent one person to the hospital.
Officers responded to the 700-block of Douglas Street for the reported shooting at about 8 p.m. Saturday.
Cambridge Police chief Daniel Dvorak said the shooting occurred inside a residence during an altercation, and the suspect fled residence after the shooting. He said the victim was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore and was in stable condition Sunday.
Dvorak said the investigation remains ongoing as officers continue to interview the victim about the altercation. He said he was unable to release the name of the victim with the investigation ongoing.
