Salvation Army Adult Bible Class Sundays
The Salvation Army, 200 Washington Street, would like to invite the public to participate in the Adult Bible Class held each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. Classes involve singing hymns, prayer and a Bible lesson, often with guest speakers and special music. Coffee and pastries are offered. Children’s classes are also available, and a worship service follows at 11 a.m.

Christ Episcopal Church Soup Day
Christ Episcopal Church in Cambridge will offer a soup day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Whatley Parish Hall, 607 Church Street in Cambridge. Soup choices are vegetable, chicken noodle and dried lima bean. Soup, biscuits, dessert and beverage is $3.50. Carryouts are available. Linkwood-Salem Volunteer Fire Company, at 3905 Ocean Gateway, Linkwood, will be selling fried chicken and oyster fritters from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. Platters include two oyster fritters and two pieces of fried chicken with choice of white or dark meat, a roll and three vegetables (potato salad, stewed tomatoes and peas) Iced Tea and Coffee.
