CAM­BRIDGE — Ar­lene A. Hansen, 80, of Cam­bridge, MD, passed away on Satur­day, Novem­ber 5, 2016 at Ch­e­sa­peake Woods Cen­ter. She was born in Hog Creek, MD, on Aug. 17, 1936, and was a daugh­ter of the late Theodore and Stella Alderman Wed­dle.

Ms. Hansen at­tended schools in Eas­ton and grad­u­ated from Eas­ton High School in 1954. Some years ago, she had worked as an op­er­a­tor at C&P Tele­phone. Ms. Hansen later worked at Air­pax and Hansen Seafood from 1978 un­til she re­tired in 1992. She was a mem­ber of the Women of the Moose Lodge 1211, Ladies Aux­il­iary of the Chop­tank Me­mo­rial Post 7460 VFW and Amer­i­can Le­gion Post 91. She

en­joyed cro­chet­ing and read­ing.

She is sur­vived by a daugh­ter, Crys­tal Wil­ley of Vi­enna; two sons, Robert L. An­ders Jr. of Vir­ginia Beach, VA and Guy S. An­ders of Can­non, DE; five grand­chil­dren: Adri­enne Messeca, Sa­man­tha Wheat­ley and Austin Wil­ley, Court­ney Dukes and Kelsey An­ders; a great grand­daugh­ter, Alexandria Dukes; sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. She was pre­ceded in death by a son, Thomas D. An­ders; two sis­ters, Betty Sue Thomas and Lou McGrath; and two brothers Jake Wed­dle and Bill Wed­dle.

Ser­vices will be held at the con­ve­nience of the fam­ily. Ar­range­ments are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cam­bridge.
