MADI­SON — Gla­dys Wy­omia (Spicer) Hyn­son, 58, qui­etly en­tered her eter­nal rest at Gilchrist Hospice in Tow­son, MD. Gla­dys, daugh­ter of the late Leroy Matthews Spicer (fa­ther) and Sarah Lou­et­ter Cam­per Spicer, was born Aug. 11, 1958. She was born at White Marsh Road in Madi­son, MD. She re­ceived her ed­u­ca­tion at the Com­mu­nity Col­lege of Bal­ti­more with an as­so­ci­ate of Arts in Ac­count­ing.

Gla­dys worked in Ad­vanced Ra­di­ol­ogy in Bal­ti­more as a Claims Pro­ces­sor from May 1999 to Sept. 2000, Amer­i­can Ra­di­ol­ogy in Owings Mills, MD as ac­counts re­ceiv­able clerk from Sept. 2000 to Dec. 2008 and Johns Hop­kins Univer­sity in Bal­ti­more, MD, as a Col­lec­tions Spe­cial­ist from Dec. 2008 to 2013.

Gla­dys was mar­ried to the late Thomas Leroy Hyn­son Sr., who pre­ceded her in death on May 1, 2013 at the Vet­er­ans Hos­pi­tal in Bal­ti­more, MD. Glady’s son, Ken­neth Dwayne Michael Camp­bell pre­ceded her in death in Nov. 1976.

She leaves to mourn her pass­ing — her mother, Sarah Spicer; her sis­ter, Vi­o­let Spicer, both of New York, and her brother, Stewart Spicer, of Cam­bridge, MD; two nieces, Riza Spicer and Cas­san­dra Spicer; a host of cousins, other rel­a­tives and friends.

Grave­side ser­vice will be at 11 a.m. Satur­day, Nov. 26, at Malone Ceme­tery, Madi­son, MD, with a view­ing half hour prior to ser­vice.
