Gladys Wyomia (Spicer) Hynson
MADISON — Gladys Wyomia (Spicer) Hynson, 58, quietly entered her eternal rest at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, MD. Gladys, daughter of the late Leroy Matthews Spicer (father) and Sarah Louetter Camper Spicer, was born Aug. 11, 1958. She was born at White Marsh Road in Madison, MD. She received her education at the Community College of Baltimore with an associate of Arts in Accounting.
Gladys worked in Advanced Radiology in Baltimore as a Claims Processor from May 1999 to Sept. 2000, American Radiology in Owings Mills, MD as accounts receivable clerk from Sept. 2000 to Dec. 2008 and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, as a Collections Specialist from Dec. 2008 to 2013.
Gladys was married to the late Thomas Leroy Hynson Sr., who preceded her in death on May 1, 2013 at the Veterans Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Glady’s son, Kenneth Dwayne Michael Campbell preceded her in death in Nov. 1976.
She leaves to mourn her passing — her mother, Sarah Spicer; her sister, Violet Spicer, both of New York, and her brother, Stewart Spicer, of Cambridge, MD; two nieces, Riza Spicer and Cassandra Spicer; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Malone Cemetery, Madison, MD, with a viewing half hour prior to service.
