CAM­BRIDGE — Gen­nia Lee Wil­ley, 79, of Cam­bridge passed away on Fri­day, Nov. 18, 2016, at UMSMC at Eas­ton. She was born in Lakesville on May 4, 1937, and was a daugh­ter of the late Fred C. and Etta Fitzhugh Foxwell.

Mrs. Wil­ley at­tended Cam­bridge High School. On Jan. 9, 1952, she mar­ried Daniel E. Wil­ley, who passed away on Au­gust 23, 2008. From 1975 to 1985, Mrs. Wil­ley was em­ployed at Coun­try­side Chris­tian School as an aid, and in 1988, she worked with Elaine in a day care busi­ness. She en­joyed read­ing, crossword puz­zles and her fam­ily. Mrs. Wil­ley was a mem­ber of Coun­try­side Chris­tian Church.

She is sur­vived by her chil­dren, Wanda Robin­son of Cam­bridge, Tina Marie Bar­ton and hus­band John of Seaford, Del., and Bruce D. Wil­ley and wife Elaine of Seaford, Del.; eight grand­chil­dren; 17 great­grand­chil­dren; a brother, Fred C. Foxwell Jr. and wife Irene of Bridgeville, Del.; a spe­cial aunt, Louise Prahl of Cam­bridge; and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. Be­sides her par­ents, Mrs. Wil­ley is pre­ceded in death by a brother, Franklin O. Foxwell.

A grave­side ser­vice was held on Tues­day, Nov. 22, at Old Trin­ity Church­yard with Rev. David Bennett of­fi­ci­at­ing. Me­mo­rial con­tri­bu­tions can be made to Coun­try­side Chris­tian School, 5333 Austin Road, Cam­bridge, MD 21613 or to St. Jude Chil­dren’s Re­search Hos­pi­tal, 501 St. Jude Place Mem­phis, TN 38105. Ar­range­ments are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home P.A. in Cam­bridge.
