Luzetta “Lou” M. Brown

EAST NEW MAR­KET — Luzetta “Lou” M. Brown, 93, of East New Mar­ket, passed away on Nov. 21, 2016, at Univer­sity of Mary­land Shore Med­i­cal Cen­ter at Dorch­ester. She was born in Tod­dville on June 9, 1923, to the late Sa­muel and Elva Johnson Mills.

Ms. Brown at­tended schools in Dorch­ester County. She worked at Peo­ples Drug Store for many years, and was later a crab picker. Ms. Brown loved play­ing bingo and cro­chet- ing afghans.

She is sur vived by a daugh­ter in law, Jane Creighton of Sec­re­tary; two grand­chil­dren, Michael Creighton and Bon­nie Staab and their fam­i­lies; a god­child, Deb­bie Walker; sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. Be­sides her par­ents, Ms. Brown is pre­ceded in death by her son, Eu­gene Creighton, and her brother, Harold Mills.

At her re­quest, all ser­vices will be pri­vate. Ar­range­ments are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cam­bridge, MD.
