RHODESDALE — Eu­gene A. D’Onofrio Jr., 53, of Rhodesdale passed away af­ter a long strug­gle with ALS on Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, at Penin­sula Re­gional Med­i­cal Cen­ter in Sal­is­bury. He was born in Bal­ti­more City on Sept. 6, 1963, and was a son of Eu­gene A. D’Onofrio Sr. and Frances Lund D’Onofrio.

Eu­gene re­ceived his GED from Bal­ti­more City. On May 16, 1998, he mar­ried the for­mer Mona Lisa Brit­ting­ham. Most of his life, he was a pro­duce man­ager at Metro and owned Mona Lisa An­tiques. Eu­gene was known as the “Metro Man.” He en­joyed an­tiques and do­ing car­pen­ter work.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Mona Lisa Brit­ting­ham D’Onofrio; his chil­dren, Amanda Keyser and Nick D’Onofrio; stepchil­dren, Jennifer Keyser, Lu­cas Pa­trick and Adam Pa­trick; grand­chil­dren, Ja­son Keyser Jr., Lau­ren Keyser, Evan Keyser, Lu­cas Pa­trick Jr., Cole Pa­trick and Adam Pa­trick Jr.; his par­ents, Eu­gene A. D’Onofrio Sr. and Frances D’Onofrio; a sis­ter, Diana Klug and hus­band Ray; three neph­ews; and one great-niece.

A me­mo­rial ser­vice was held on Wed­nes­day, Nov. 30, at Thomas Fu­neral Home P.A. with Rev. Mark Massey of­fi­ci­at­ing. Fam­ily re­ceived friends one hour prior to the ser­vice.
