LINKWOOD — Lil­lie T. Warfield, 84, of Linkwood, MD, passed away on Tues­day, Nov. 22, 2016, at her home. She was born in An­drews on Oct. 12, 1932, and was a daugh­ter of the late Ol­lie and Rosie Ab­bott Mills.

Mrs. Warfield at­tended schools in Dorch­ester County. On Nov. 30, 1996, she mar­ried Wil­liam Leroy Warfield Jr., who passed away on Jan. 28, 2006. She was a meter maid for the City of Cam­bridge and she

also had var­i­ous other jobs. She en­joyed pick­ing crabs. Mrs. Warfield was a mem­ber of El­liott’s Is­land United Methodist Church.

She is sur­vived by her daugh­ter, Nina Rogers of Linkwood; five grand­chil­dren: John L. Gray Jr.,

Wil­liam L. Gray, Michael Wingate, Tammy Sue Gray and Kathy L. Wingate; sev­eral great grand­chil­dren; a sis­ter, Glo­ria Thomas of Cam­bridge; and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. Be­sides her par­ents and her hus­band, Mrs. Warfield is pre­ceded in death by a daugh­ter, Lil­lie Mae Gray; a great grand­daugh­ter, Brit­tany Ni­cole Ruark; three sis­ters; and three broth­ers.

Pall­bear­ers will be Chuck Wil­ley, John Gray Jr., Wil­liam

Gray, Michael Wingate and Gary West­brook.

A fu­neral ser­vice will be held at noon Friday, Dec. 2, at Thomas Fu­neral Home, P.A. in Cam­bridge, with Pas­tor Dave Ste­wart of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low at Dorch­ester Me­mo­rial Park. Fam­ily will re­ceive friends one hour prior to the ser vice.
