Cambridge Wesleyan Family Life Center will host a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 3. The menu includes spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, and drinks. Baked goods will also be for sale. A silent auction will also be featured. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for children aged 7-13, and free for children 6 and younger. Christ Church Civil Rights Discussion March 4
Christ Church in Cambridge will host a viewing and discussion of the documentary “A Time for Burning” from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at Barber Hall. The film was produced in 1966 and released in 1967 and tells the story of an effort to integrate a large downtown church in Omaha, Neb. The Rev. Dr. Katie Day, of Cambridge and Professor of Church and Society at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia will lead the discussion. Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 109 Myrtle Street, Secretary, will host an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 4. The menu includes spaghetti with meat or plain sauce, cheese ravioli, salad, bread, dessert, and beverages. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children aged 5-12, and free for children 4 and younger.
