Get to know these artists. I love bringing you these countdowns because this is proof that culture or distance is not a barrier between any of us to serve or love the God that created us. You, the reader and music fan, have a variety of styles to choose from. Listen to this great music, and you will be blessed for it. Crazy One of C1 Radio recently launched his new video show. The name of this broadcast is “The Zone,” which showcases some of the hottest artists and groups in Urban Gospel Music. I asked him to tell me what his biggest challenge was to get this platform started. He said “Our biggest challenge getting this show off was making sure we weren’t the same run of the mill video show, but at the same time giving people something familiar and comfortable to watch!” To find out more information on “The Zone” and what the Crazy One is doing, follow him on Twitter @CrazyOne373. Recently, there was a great event that took place in Boston that was fun filled for an entire weekend. I’m talking about the Elevation Conference, which opened with a great outreach event in Dorchester, MA on May 28th. There were great artists on hand such as Vanni fka SoVocab, Serious Voice, and many more. I want to send a special shout out to Arva J for playing a huge part in organizing this portion of the Elevation Conference. The big day, in the minds of many, was May 29th as this was an official, heavy hitting event that New England Urban Gospel Music fans anticipated. I was able to speak with Mike Mack AKA Church Boy of the ACE Life Movement about the event. He talked about the artists that kicked things off. The openers were Steven Malcolm, AppleJaxx, Caleb McCoy, Disciple (D.I), and Vanni. When I asked him about the event, Mike Mack said “It was honestly our best crowd ever. They stood up and got hyped for the very first opener and never sat down or turned down. It was electric.” Reach Records Recording Artist KB blessed the audience as the featured artist for the evening. It is evident that the fans got what they paid for.
