CONFIDENCE IN THE DREAM
Zac has been splashing the screens with his self taught cooking techniques and confidence in the kitchen. After Season 4 of MasterChef Ju nior, MasterChef Celebrity Showdown and FYI’s Stove Tots, DREAM TEEN Magazine had the opportunity to interview him.
Zac is known for his appearance on the fourth season of MasterChef Junior. He was a semifinalist in the Final Four of Gordon Ramsay’s MasterChef Junior cooking competition. He also appeared on MasterChef Celebrity Showdown, a reality cooking show that aired on Fox network.
We asked Zac about his experience on MasterChef Junior. He says that it was tough, and the experience was great. He enjoyed Gordon Ramsay; he is an incredible person and is funny as well and really wants to help.
Culinary celebrity Zac, was born in Toronto, Canada and later moved to Orlando, Florida with his brother and sister. His first love is tennis and he has been playing since he was 4. Zac says that cooking took him by surprise, but his love for food helped him to discover his passion for cooking and prepared him for MasterChef Junior.
Zac cooks amazing dishes for his family. His choice is fresh vegetables and fruit. One of his favorite dishes is the pan-seared brondino with a butternut squash puree, mushrooms, canola and blackberry reduction, glazed and shaved carrots. He said it is delicious.
His confidence contributed to him being the youngest head chef ever, in the Canadian Food Championships as a qualifier for the World Food Championships. He was nominated for a Young Entertainers Award for Best Web Series for “Cooking with Zac.” He also earned a Top Five placement out of 56 of the finest chefs in Orlando at the Gourmet Soiree.
Zac’s belief in his passion and dream has opened other doors to acting. His cooking has helped him with the pressure and nervousness when playing tennis. His parents support is a anchor for his cooking and acting career. He says that he is enjoying the journey while learning to master his talent. DT
Zac Kara not only impressed celebrity chefs, he has caught the attention of foodie fans and peers from his YouTube cooking show and cookbook. Both are geared to get teenagers cooking and into the kitchen.
