BRINGING THE SCRIPT TO LIFE
Jordyn Curet By Tarran Carter
DREAM TEEN Magazine caught up with the talented Jordyn Curet to ask her about her career. This is what she shared.
Tell us about your latest project?
My latest project was a reoccuring guest star role on Disney Channel’s “Raven’s Home,” where I played Alexandra, the leader of the nogood nerds. I was very honored to appear in 4 episodes in Season 3. Be sure to stay tuned for upcoming episodes.
How did you come about this project, did you audition, was it a connection?
My role on Raven’s Home was an audition along with a producer session. I enjoyed bringing Alexandra from script to life during this process and it was a great honor to be chosen for this role.
What do you like most about it?
When I was little, I enjoyed watching throw back episodes of ‘That So Raven’ on the Disney Channel and then to have the opportunity to work with Raven Symone, along with the entire cast, was truly a dream come true.
Tell us about an obstacle you had to overcome working on this project?
One of the biggest obstacles was finding the character that the director, producers, and writers could all visualize. Notes are given throughout the entire process and I needed to deliver their changes instantly as they were fine tuning this character. It is certainly is a process, but I am always eager to take on this challenge. It is a very rewarding process.
