BERRY-BEET BLISS

Rich in the an­tiox­i­dant be­taine, beets flush the liver, stim­u­late the lym­phatic sys­tem, and oxy­genate the blood. This blend’s fla­vor is sweet and spicy—far from earthy—thanks to straw­ber­ries, ap­ple, lemon, cin­na­mon, and cayenne. 1¼ cups co­conut wa­ter or wa­ter (plus more

as needed) 1 medium red beet (cooked, if us­ing a con

ven­tional blender), peeled and chopped 1 ap­ple, skin on, cored and chopped ½ small av­o­cado, pit­ted and peeled ½ lemon, peeled and seeded 1/8 tea­spoon ground cin­na­mon, plus more to

taste Pinch cayenne pep­per 2 cups frozen straw­ber­ries 5 drops al­co­hol-free liq­uid ste­via (op­tional)

OP­TIONAL AD­DI­TIONS: 1 ta­ble­spoon açaí pow­der 1 tea­spoon flaxseed oil 1 tea­spoon chia seeds
