Arkansas group helps with Harvey relief.
Coming together: Pictured above is one of the huge grills set up in Houston, where Arkansas disaster relief volunteers have been preparing food for those in Houston still displaced by Hurricane Harvey. Arkansas volunteers served around 1,800 people most days for lunch and about 1,200 for evening meals. Right, Arkansas volunteers, including Dennis Lynn, center, of Little Rock, formerly of El Dorado, take a break from preparing, serving and cleaning up after meals were served in Houston for people dislodged because of Hurricane Harvey. The Arkansas contingent will return on Sept. 19, after a week-long mission to help Texans. Below, volunteers, including Cindy Lynn, center, of Little Rock, formerly of El Dorado, served with the Southern Baptist Convention and spent several hours each day preparing meals for those still displaced by the hurricane.
