50th Annual Jonquil Festival is perfect for you. The festival will be March 16-18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Washington, Ark. This festival brings in the spring in southwest Arkansas. Horseshoe Canyon Adventures. This popular break site allows you to stay in a ranch cabin, at a campground or just hang around for the day. The Horseshoe Canyon is home to the longest zip-line in Arkansas and one of the top zip lines in North America. The zip-line is nearly half a mile long and can get up to speeds of 50 miles per hour. Bay State Park. This attraction is close to home with beautiful landscapes, wildlife resources and the Ouachita River. The park facilities consist of picnic sites, a store, boat rentals and cabins. This is the perfect getaway for anyone who loves nature and being outdoors.

Although some may think there’s nowhere to go in Arkansas, there are plenty of sites and attraction­s close to home for all ages to enjoy.
