Clyde Lee Hunt, 83, of El Do­rado passed away on Fri­day, April 13, at Hud­son Memo­rial Nurs­ing Home. He was born De­cem­ber 17, 1934 in Dubach, La. to the union of Jack Lee Hunt and Lu­cille Tan­ner Hunt. In his younger years Clyde en­joyed soft­ball and coach­ing Boys Club Base­ball.

An avid deer hunter and fish­er­man, he was a grad­u­ate of Louisiana Tech and re­tired from Lion Oil as an Ac­count­ing Su­per­vi­sor at the age of 62.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents and a daugh­ter, Amy Jo Machen.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Lav­erne Hunt of El Do­rado, son Alan La­mar Hunt of El Do­rado, daugh­ter Karen Leigh Robin­son of El Do­rado and daugh­ter Holly Mor­gan (Chad) of Hot Springs. He is sur­vived by his brother, Glen (Cindy) Hunt and sis­ters; Nell (James) Grafton, Judy (Mike) Mabry, Jane Hunt and Shirley (Bill) Colvin. He is sur­vived by seven grand­chil­dren and three great grand­chil­dren.

Visi­ta­tion will be from 10 un­til 11 a.m. on Tues­day, 17 April at Young’s Fu­neral Di­rec­tors. Fu­neral will be at 11 a.m. at Young’s Fu­neral Di­rec­tors.

Me­mo­ri­als may be made to El Do­rado First Bap­tist Church or Life Touch Hospice House.
