Val­ley’s Swiss Echoes Club Plans Oc­to­ber Per­for­mance

The San Joaquin Val­ley Swiss Echoes, a singing and yo­del­ing club in Ripon, is hav­ing its an­nual fall con­cert and dance on Satur­day, Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Swiss Hall in Ripon, on the cor­ner of Man­ley and East Main streets.

They are hav­ing a “Cabaret Night” with a va­ri­ety of singing and en­ter­tain­ment, fol­lowed by danc­ing to the tunes of Ron Scheiber Mitchell Gan­der Or­ches­tra. Ad­mis­sion to the con­cert and dance is $10 in ad­vance and $12 at the door.

Din­ner is avail­able as well for those who buy tick­ets by Oct. 13 The Rip­pli din­ner has lim­ited seat­ing. It fea­tures smoked pork chops and is served from 6 7 p.m. prior to the con­cert. Tick­ets are $12 for adults and $6 for chil­dren 12 and un­der. Last July in Ta­coma, Washington the Swiss Echoes had the honor of re­ceiv­ing the Saenger­fest flag as they will host the next Swiss Singing Fes­ti­val in Modesto and Ripon in 2017, from June 22-25. The Grand Con­cert will be – for the first time – held at the Gallo Cen­ter in Modesto on June 23.
