Valley’s Swiss Echoes Club Plans October Performance
The San Joaquin Valley Swiss Echoes, a singing and yodeling club in Ripon, is having its annual fall concert and dance on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Swiss Hall in Ripon, on the corner of Manley and East Main streets.
They are having a “Cabaret Night” with a variety of singing and entertainment, followed by dancing to the tunes of Ron Scheiber Mitchell Gander Orchestra. Admission to the concert and dance is $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
Dinner is available as well for those who buy tickets by Oct. 13 The Rippli dinner has limited seating. It features smoked pork chops and is served from 6 p.m.to 7 p.m. prior to the concert. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. Last July in Tacoma, Washington the Swiss Echoes had the honor of receiving the Saengerfest flag as they will host the next Swiss Singing Festival in Modesto and Ripon in 2017, from June 22-25. The Grand Concert will be – for the first time – held at the Gallo Center in Modesto on June 23.
