Farm­ing­ton Methodist Women Seek­ing Crafters For Bou­tique

Farm­ing­ton United Methodist Women will host a Crafters Bou­tique and Lun­cheon on Satur­day, Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Farm­ing­ton Church Grounds on Elm Street.

This is an op­por­tu­nity for crafters to sell their hand­crafted spe­cialty cre­ations, in ad­di­tion to craft items made by church mem­bers, bak­ery se­lec­tions and other sale items. A lunch will also be served.

Ta­ble charge for those crafters wish­ing to be a part of the event is $25, which in­cludes a six-foot ta­ble and chairs. The ta­bles will be as­signed in the or­der the ap­pli­ca­tions are re­ceived. Crafters are re­quired to stay at the event un­til 2 p.m. un­less they sell out their in­ven­tory.

Dead­line to register for a spot in the craft bou­tique is Tues­day, Oct. 6. For more in­for­ma­tion, con­tact Susie Bakewell at 209-603-3668.

The day of the event, crafts will need to in place no later than 8:30 a.m. and the rooms at the church will be open to set up be­gin­ning at 7 a.m. that day. For those need­ing to, spe­cial ar­range­ments can be made to set up on Fri­day, Oct. 16.

Crafters sign­ing up to par­tic­i­pate can­not sell any com­mer­cial items.

The bou­tique it­self will be set up at the church, 25626 E. Elm St., Farm­ing­ton and home­made soup and pie will be avail­able for sale through­out the day and there will also be a draw­ing for a hand­made quilt.
