Mark your calendar for the upcoming Spaghetti Dinner and raffle, Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Odd Fellows Hall on the main street of La Grange, sponsored by the LaFayette Lodge #65. You can sit down to a plate of their special recipe spaghetti, enjoy some neighborly conversation over an ice cream sundae and buy a chance to win big in the raffle.

Dinner will be served from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and soft drinks with ice cream sundaes for dessert. It’s all you can eat, or take-out dinner. The price is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

The raffle drawing at 7 p.m. will offer many prizes; tickets are a $1 donation or six for $5. Dinner and raffle tickets will be available at the door. Proceeds go to the IOOF Hall maintenance and restoration. Contact Chris Stevenson (209) 853-2128 or Norm Varain (209) 916-5086 for tickets or more information.

While attending the dinner, visitors are also invited to take a tour of the upstairs meeting hall of the LaFayette Lodge, for a step back in time. See the 1881 vintage ceremonial furnishings and regalia; admire the workmanship of hand carved oak chairs brought ‘Round the Horn’ from England. The Odd Fellows have worked hard over the years to refurbish this historic hall.

The IOOF Hall is on the main street of town, which is Highway 132 just east of the intersection of Highway J-59, 20 miles east of Waterford, 30 miles north of Merced. The address is 30018 Yosemite Boulevard.
