Fundrais­ing Sem­i­nar Of­fered For Non-Profit Com­mu­nity

The Gospel Cen­ter Res­cue Mis­sion will have a start-up fundrais­ing sem­i­nar for the non-profit com­mu­nity of San Joaquin County. The event will be held Satur­day, Jan. 28 on the res­cue mis­sion cam­pus, 445 S. San Joaquin St., Stock­ton, CA 95203.

The sem­i­nar will teach the keys to start-up fundrais­ing. You will learn to take home real fundrais­ing tools, how to start fundrais­ing with­out bud­get or fundrais­ing staff and you will also get the bot­tom line about web­sites, cap­i­tal cam­paigns, and con­sul­tants.

Wayne G. Richard­son, the cur­rent Pres­i­dent and CEO of the Gospel Cen­ter Res­cue Mis­sion, will teach the sem­i­nar. In ad­di­tion to be­ing a pro­fes­sional fundrais­ing con­sul­tant, Richard­son is also a cer­ti­fied fundrais­ing ex­ec­u­tive. His pro­fes­sional ex­pe­ri­ences in­clude be­ing the for­mer Vice Pres­i­dent of Devel­op­ment for the Billy Gra­ham Evan­ge­lis­tic As­so­ci­a­tion as well as be­ing the for­mer Vice Pres­i­dent of Phi­lan­thropy of CBN’s Op­er­a­tion Bless­ing In­ter­na­tional that he fundraised for in Haiti in 2011. He is a grad­u­ate of West Point.

Seat­ing is lim­ited to the first 50 peo­ple who have reg­is­tered by mail­ing or de­liv­er­ing a $25 check made out to Gospel Cen­ter Res­cue Mis­sion to the cam­pus ad­dress men­tioned above. Ref­er­ence the sem­i­nar in a note when mail­ing or de­liv­er­ing a check.

Tick­ets are $25 per per­son. The sem­i­nar in­cludes lunch, snacks, re­fresh­ments and sem­i­nar ma­te­ri­als. Tick­ets are non-re­fund­able. Reg­is­tra­tion and ques­tions may be sent by email to wrichard­son@gr­cms.org
