Week­end Fes­ti­val Fea­tures Mu­sic, Crafts In Twain Harte

Home Grown will be cel­e­brat­ing 44 years of play­ing mu­sic to­gether at Con­cert In the Pines.

This spe­cial mu­si­cal event is sched­uled for Satur­day, July 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (or a lit­tle longer) on the Ro­tary Stage at Epro­son Park in Twain Harte.

Come in the morn­ing, if you can, and set out your blan­ket and low-back chairs to re­serve your spot for an evening of fun. Af­ter stak­ing out your place for the evening show, walk down a few blocks for the Fire On the Moun­tain Arts and Crafts Fair, which will run all day on Satur­day, July 22 and con­tinue Sun­day, July 23 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a va­ri­ety of ven­dors and per­form­ers.

The pop­u­lar sum­mer event draws over 5000 qual­ity craft pur­chasers and mu­sic lovers, or­ga­niz­ers said. Start­ing at the Twain Harte arch, on Joaquin Gully, nearly 100 high cal­iber artists will dis­play and sell their wares. The va­ri­ety in­cludes pho­tog­ra­phy, paint­ings, metal work, pot­tery, fine jew­elry, cloth­ing and ac­ces­sories, wood­works, stained glass, folk art, flo­rals, bird houses and feed­ers, leather goods, soaps and lo­tions, gar­den art, and face paint­ing. Along with the crafts, the fair has many gourmet food booths and mu­sic through­out the fes­ti­val.
