Annual CoyoteFest Slated
Now is the time to sign up for the parade, car show or a booth and take part in the annual Coulterville CoyoteFest, coming up on Saturday, Sept. 23.
The Car Show entry fee remains at just $25 through Aug. 1. Early bird registered cars also get dash plaques and a “Goody Bag” and any car entered into the show is “comped” into the parade for those interested, just note it on the application. For those entering the parade using other means of transportation … feet, hoofs, tractor, or other vehicle, registration is just $10. Forms for both of these events as well as vendor applications can be downloaded on the coyotefest.org website, or you can fill it out there and even pay online. For those who still resist technology, just call the museum, 209878-3015, leave your contact info and the type of application you want and one will be mailed to you.
The parade kicks off at 10 a.m. sharp, People’s Choice judging is from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., and the Coyote Howl Contests, live music, food and merchandise booths and other entertainment goes from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Coulterville Park.
