NO SMALL MATTER

Field and Stream - - CHEERS & JEERS -

The next-level small-game tactics in “Adventures in Squirrel Country” were great. Hunting the little critters can teach you how to sneak, stalk, and watch, and improve your stealth and shooting skills, all of which will come in handy when pursuing big game. Sure, you can sit on a log and wait out a squirrel, but I like a good stalk through damp woods best of all. Corby Miller, via Facebook Squirrel hunting is great if you’re bored or short on cash. It doesn’t take special equipment. All you need is a lightweight single-shot gun, then you’re ready to go. It doesn’t get more simple than that. I like squirrel hunting because it gives me another reason to get outside and take a walk through the woods. Thanks for the story. Marty Morris, via Facebook
