ch­ests in the shop. He asked us if we’d like to take a peak in­side and we replied in the af­fir­ma­tive, not giv­ing it an­other thought. While he un­locked it to show us its con­tents, we ex­pected to see wrenches, screw­drivers and sock­ets. In­stead, we were treated to drawer after drawer of firearms good­ness. It was only nat­u­ral that his two pas­sions melded to­gether at some point, with that meet­ing point be­ing this tool cart.

When asked about it, he ex­plained to us that he took an older, less-used tool cart and had its orig­i­nal red color blasted off. He wanted to re­fur­bish the greasy old cart to match the newer tool ch­ests that line the walls of his shop, which are all fin­ished in gloss white.

After he had the cart freshly pow­der­coated to match the rest, he got the idea of stor­ing some of his ded­i­cated gun tools in it. That led to a few guns pop­u­lat­ing the cart as well as a small col­lec­tion of gun accessories. As his gun tool col­lec­tion got larger over time, he be­gan to run out of room and moved the tools to an­other tool­box. That left the cart with what you see here.

The top com­part­ment holds AR-15 up­per re­ceiver as­sem­blies as well as a cou­ple of lower re­ceivers. The sec­ond drawer holds a col­lec­tion of pis­tols, and the one be­low that is filled with AR-15 lower re­ceiver as­sem­blies. The bot­tom-most drawer held a col­lec­tion of accessories in­clud­ing sound sup­pres­sors, flash­lights, lasers, knives and more.

The top com­part­ment holds AR-15 up­per re­ceiver as­sem­blies as well as a cou­ple of lower re­ceivers. The sec­ond drawer holds a col­lec­tion of pis­tols (top of page) and the one be­low it is filled with AR-15 lower re­ceiver as­sem­blies, mag­a­zines and am­mu­ni­tion.
