To hang party decorations without damaging the paint on your wall, try this: Place a strip of painter’s tape on the wall where you want to hang the banner, sign or other item, then cover that tape with double-sided tape and hang your decoration. When you’re ready to remove it, carefully pull on the painter’s tape, which will peel away easily without taking any paint off your wall.
