Keeping your core stabilized as you lift your leg also engages the erector spinae to help smooth out back bulges.

TO DO: Crouch on all fours and nestle a 3-pound weight inside your left knee. Keeping your right knee at a 90-degree angle, lift your left leg out to the side to bring your left thigh parallel to the ground, then lower back down. Do 10 reps, then switch sides.
