Trims inches 75% faster
Summoning happy thoughts before a workout can go a long way toward getting you slim and sculpted. In a study published in the Journal of Applied Sport Psychology, sprinters who thought about something that brought them joy (like spending time with friends) before the start of their race ran faster and enjoyed the exercise more than runners who focused on negative or neutral thoughts. And in a separate study, subjects who participated in playful exercise burned 75 percent more fat and gained 200 percent more lean muscle than those who engaged in traditional workouts.
