“Sticky buns are my fa­vorite Sun­day-morn­ing treat to serve when I have week­end guests, but I rarely have time to make them from scratch,” says Ni­cole Aber, FIRST as­so­ciate food editor. “My hack: dress­ing up canned cin­na­mon rolls with a de­li­ciously fruity gourmet glaze. First, I bake the buns as di­rected. Mean­while, I sim­mer 1⁄ cup 2 of fresh cran­ber­ries, 1⁄ cup of su­gar, 2 1 tsp. of orange zest and 2 Tbs. of fresh orange juice for 20 min­utes. When the buns are fin­ished, I let them cool, then I driz­zle the fruit com­pote on top. My friends and fam­ily rave about the cran-orange aroma, and they al­ways ask for sec­onds.”
