All it takes to make an eye-catching candlescape is a charger plate, candles and a few festive extras. To do: Set four battery-run pillar candles in holiday hues on a gold charger plate or round serving platter. Snip a small handful of evergreen sprigs to 3" and add to plate to create a lush base. Next, set mini baubles atop the sprigs and add one or two larger ornaments near the plate’s edge.

TIP: Give old ornaments a fresh finish! For a frosted look, simply mist them with a coat or two of hairspray. For an antique finish, wipe with brown shoe polish, then buff with a cloth.
