“BEAUTIFUL THINGS NEVER GO OUT OF

STYLE,” writes Emily Chalmers, the author of a new book, Flea Market Style. She shares that while many preloved pieces fit into your home just the way they are, others may need a bit of elbow polish or a reimagining before they are up to snuff for display. Her book is filled with ideas for how to see the potential in furniture and accessories, and how to bring that potential to fruition. Here are a few tips from the book, as well as some of the inspiring results. —KDW
