Kin­der Mor­gan, one of the U.S.’S largest en­ergy in­fra­struc­ture firms with 84,000 miles of pipe­line, was co­founded by Kin­der in 1997 af­ter he left En­ron. He owns more than 10% of the com­pany and serves as its ex­ec­u­tive chair­man. In 2015, his alma mater, the Univer­sity of Mis­souri, used his $25 mil­lion do­na­tion to open the Kin­der In­sti­tute on Con­sti­tu­tional Democ­racy.
