150. Marc Benioff
As a high school student, Benioff started his own business writing games for Atari and Apple computers and used his earnings to pay his tuition at USC. Then, as a college sophomore, he worked as a paid intern writing software for Apple. In 1999, after 13 years at Oracle, Benioff cofounded customermanagement software firm Salesforce. Its stock is up nearly 30% in the past 12 months, amid company pro jections that revenues will grow more than 24% this year. In September, it launched a $50 million fund to invest in artificial intelligence startups.
