150. Nick Caporella
Shares of his softdrink company National Beverage, best known for Lacroix seltzer, bubbled up more than 125% in the past year. The son of a Pennsylvania coal miner, Caporella worked as a contractor after high school and later became the CEO at telecom and cable company Burnup & Sims. He founded National Beverage in 1985 and over the years acquired such brands as Shasta, Sundance Naturals and Lacroix.
