They’re 1,000 pages, of which you un­der­stand 10.” An Epic spokesper­son in­sists the con­ver­sa­tion was cor­dial, and Faulkner sup­ports pa­tients’ rights to ac­cess their med­i­cal records. Faulkner knows records well. She is the founder and CEO of Epic, a lead­ing med­i­cal-record soft­ware com­pany that stores 190 mil­lion pa­tients’ files.
