278. Kieu Hoang
The Vietnam-born Hoang came to the U.S. with his family in 1975 at the end of the Vietnam War. He got a job at Abbott Reference Laboratories in southern California. He started his first company, Rare Antibody Antigen Supply, in 1980. He later founded Shanghai RAAS, a supplier of blood-derived products that is now listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Hoang operates a winery in Napa Valley.
