The president of Lee Equity Partners has been active lately. In October 2016 his firm helped launch fertility-care provider Prelude Fertility. Two months later, it bought K-MAC Holdings, a Taco Bell operator in Arkansas. In September, the firm sold Eating Recovery Center, making 4 times its initial 2013 investment. He’s best known for leading the sale of Snapple for $1.7 billion in 1994, 2 years after he bought it, at a return of 32 times equity. Lee was a member of the Hasting Pudding Club, Harvard’s oldest social club.
